Free Standing Display Units are perfect for displaying new products or for highlighting a promotional offer. Walsh Whiskey Distillery took part in Supervalu’s Premium Irish Whiskey Promotion so required graphics for Free Standing Display Units (FSDU) that they would use to display their Writer’s Tears Whiskey. Eye-catching point of sale display for retail is one of the main tools used for Point-of-Sale.
FSDU’s are also very effective in enhancing brand awareness among existing customers and new customers. Having a professional designed free standing display unit not only raises your brand profile but also increases product sales. We designed the Writer’s Tears retail display unit to match the brand colours of Writer’s Tears and to reflect the Whiskey box packaging.
Product photography was used on the sides of the display unit which highlighted the product itself. As an additional finishing touch we designed an extra “teardrop” which was applied by hand to the display unit, this added an extra 3D element.
50 units were created by The Printed Image and they were distributed to a selection of Supervalu supermarkets around Ireland. The completed design for the retail display units were very effective and ensured Writer’s Tears received extra consumer attention for the duration of the supermarket promotion.
