The team here at AKGraphics were asked to come up with a company rebrand design for Ormonde Machinery Ltd. Ormonde Machinery is a leading supplier of quality construction mining, quarrying and recycling equipment. The company supplies a broad range of equipment to satisfy the demands of a growing customer base both within Ireland and overseas.
The new identity design had to by dynamic and communicate the mechanical aspects of the business. Our logo rebrand could be adapted to be used on both a black background and a white background. The bold, capitalised font communicates that the company is strong, with the triangles complimenting the design with a mechanical element. This company rebrand has since been adapted to corporate stationery, signage, promotional clothing, adverts, various trade show graphics material, large promotional stickers for use on the machines, and vehicle graphics.
The stationary above was designed using the new identity design for Ormonde Machinery, again strong bold colours to make Ormonde Machinery stand out from its competitors. This stationary design included letterheads, compliment slips and double sided business cards. The stationary design was coherent with the new brand guidelines which were also set by AKGraphics. Graphic headers was also supplied to Ormonde Machinery for various social media platforms also.
Advert designs followed shortly after, to promote the Ormonde Machinery service and main dealers offerings. These advertising designs also followed the brand guidelines and adopted a new style which kept the overall look of the Ormande Machinery rebrand.
The next step was to brand the Ormonde Machinery Technical Support vehicle, which travels nationwide throughout Ireland. Our logo design was applied to the vehicle along with contact details and the web address designed in the new Ormonde Machinery style. The photographs above show our custom vehicle graphics applied.
A large service sticker design followed the vehicle graphics. This had to be visible from a distance and also follow the new brand guidelines for the Ormonde Machinery rebrand. Again a great use of daily advertising for Ormonde Machinery to promote the service offering and the website.
The Ormonde Machinery staff also required promotional clothing for various outdoor and indoor trade shows. Trade show graphics also consisted of pull up banners, signage, flags and other promotional material.

TerraFirma Training were looking for a dynamic logo design to suit their innovative way of training for the varied vehicle based training courses on offer. Our corporate identity design for Terrafirma Training came from an abstract interpretation of the treads of a tyre, a two colour identity that brands well in all aspects of marketing.
This adaptive identity design works on both a black background and a white background which allowed the logo to be applied to vehicle graphics, stationery, on clothing and digitally via web.

When setting up a business you might require a uniform to help your staff stand out from customers. The brand identity for TerraFirma Training can be reproduced through embroidery, this can be easily applied to jackets, jumpers, uniforms, hats, trousers, etc. Promotional clothing is great tool for use at trade shows, on-site, for reps. or as a branded uniform for Terrafirma Training in action in those muddy and wet conditions!

AKGraphics had the pleasure of working with McLoughlin Architecture, Naas, Co. Kildare, in creating a new corporate identity. The new logo design for the Kildare based company captures the clean lines and modern feel that McLoughlin Architecture wanted to portray. An important part of professional logo design is selecting a colour palette appropriate to the brand tone.

McLoughlin Architecture faced the difficulty of having their offices on the first and second floors of a shared commercial building. This meant that clients sometimes had difficulty locating them. As the building holds a number of different business it was important that McLoughlin Architecture branding and signage was clearly visible from the carpark. As part of AKGraphics’ work on the new branding for McLoughlin Architecture we designed a full suite of stationery for them. This included business card design, compliments slip design and letterhead design. In keeping with the new brand styling the stationery items featured crisp clean lines with lots of white space which resulted in a professional looking suite of corporate stationery.
